Topic: Putting AI to Work: A Practical Implementation Roadmap for Cross-Functional Teams
Summary: Every organization is talking about AI, but many teams are still trying to determine what meaningful adoption actually looks like in practice. Across financial reporting, audit, sustainability, and other cross-functional teams, the real challenge is identifying where AI can create real value, how to get started, and what responsible implementation should look like over time.
In this interactive session, panelists from different functions and organizations will share how their teams are approaching AI at different stages of maturity, while attendees reflect on where their own organizations fall on the roadmap. Through guided discussion and audience exercises, participants will benchmark their progress, explore practical use cases, and leave with clearer next steps for moving from exploration to implementation.
Attendees will leave with a clearer view of their own organization’s readiness, ideas they can take back internally, and a more practical understanding of how AI adoption unfolds in the real world.
Learning Objectives
- Identify common stages of AI adoption across reporting, audit, risk, and compliance functions.
- Assess where their organization currently falls on the AI implementation roadmap and what factors influence readiness.
- Recognize practical use cases where AI can improve efficiency, generate insights, or support decision-making across cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate key considerations for moving from experimentation to broader adoption, including stakeholder alignment, change management, and governance.
