Audit Program for Quickbooks and ACCESS databases Conversion
Objectives:
1. To determine that user access and authorized functions are adequately identified and assigned to the respective business function.
2. To determine that data mapping from the legacy processes and systems to A Better Way (ABW) includes all critical items. NOTE: Legacy processes and systems refers to Quickbooks, ACCESS database applications, Excel spreadsheets and manual procedures/processes.
3. To determine that adequate test plans and testing processes have been developed and implemented to ensure data integrity.
4. To determine that critical conversion functions and processes have been thoroughly tested by the business units and the Information Technology support function.
5. To determine the adequacy of balancing controls, exception process handling and correction procedures.
6. Determine that critical interfaces from or to ABW to other systems, if applicable, have been adequately tested to ensure they function correctly and consistent with pre-existing interfaces that were in place for legacy systems.
